Marilyn Manson guitarist John 5 , who currently works with Rob Zombie , has revealed that the new album from his project John 5 and the Creatures will feature former KISS drummer Peter Criss (via Blabbermouth ).

The album is called Sinner and doesn't yet have an official release date. According to John 5, all the tracks are new. Regarding the drummer's participation, he said: “Peter Criss plays drums on the song 'Georgia On My Mind', which is the last song on the album. That's a jazz song and Peter is known for his jazz vibe. I'm not kidding, the guy sat down at the drums and played two takes. Barry [ Pointer , producer] jaw dropped. Wait until you hear it, it was perfect.”

Still praising the drummer, John 5 continued: “If there’s one thing you can’t teach, it’s that vibe and that feeling. And Barry was like, ‘Okay, what do we do now?’ The guy literally took probably eight minutes and the sound came out perfect. He [Barry] thought, ‘There’s nothing else we need to do. That was perfect.’”
