Peter Criss, founding drummer of KISS , has announced a new solo album. This is his first new work in 18 years, the successor to One for All (2007).
The famous Catman made the announcement during his appearance on the fan podcast KissFAQ., last Thursday, April 24th [transcription via NME ]: “I have an announcement. I have my new rock and roll album for you Kiss Army people, which will be released in the fall. And I really hope you like it. And I want to say God bless each and every one of you.”
Scheduled for release between September and November, the album is co-produced by Barry Pointer and features 79-year-old Peter Criss on drums, accompanied by Billy Sheehan and Matthew Montgomery – known as Piggy D. – on bass, John 5 and Mike McLaughlin on guitar, and Paul Shaffer on piano.
