Peter Collins , renowned British music producer known for his work with bands such as Rush , Queensrÿche , Alice Cooper , and Bon Jovi , has passed away at the age of 73. His career was marked by versatility and innovation, leaving a great legacy in the history of rock and metal. The cause and exact date of death have not yet been revealed.

Collins' resume boasts some heavyweight albums. Rush's Power Windows Bon Jovi's These Days Queensrÿche's Operation: Mindcrime Hey Stoopid (1991) are just a few of the more than 50 albums the musician has produced.

However, his history with Rush is one of the most significant. Guitarist Alex Lifeson was one of the first to pay tribute to the producer through social media. Along with him, Geddy Lee and Rush's own account also posted dedications to the musician with whom they worked in the 1980s and 1990s.
