Great news for The Who : legendary Pete Townshend revealed in a recent interview that there is material for a new post-pandemic album from the band, recorded by him during isolation.

In an interview with The Mirror , the guitarist stated that he is ready to record a new Who album as soon as the pandemic is over, but that the album will only be released if it makes financial sense. "There are pages and pages of compositions. So, if the time comes, I'll go into the studio and start."

"Seriously, trying to make an album that sounds like a The Who album, and still be good enough to catch the attention of someone browsing through a bunch of music online, is a challenge," he says.
