Pet Shop Boys announced on Wednesday, the 31st, news about their highly anticipated new studio album, titled Nonetheless . To kick off this new era, they released the music video for the first single, "Loneliness".

Scheduled for release on April 26th of this year, the album marks the duo's return to the Parlophone Records label. The successor to the LP Hotspot (2020) will feature the prestigious music producer James Ford , who has worked with names such as Blur , Depeche Mode , Jessie Ware , Kylie Minogue, among others.

Regarding the new album, the duo formed by Chris Lowe and Neil Tennant added (via NME ): “We wanted this album to be a celebration of the unique and diverse emotions that make us human. From the most danceable tracks to the raw poignancy of the introspective ballads, with their beautiful string arrangements, each track tells a story and contributes to the overall narrative of the album.”

“We are very excited to release this new album. The ten tracks are the strongest indicators of where we are today. Like much of our music, it is very reflective. It was great working with James Ford, who we believe brought new elements to our music.”

Nonetheless , the 15th studio album

Two years after their last album of original material, the duo returns with ten new compositions that will be available digitally and in various physical formats, including CD, black vinyl, clear vinyl, gray vinyl, and cassette.

The deluxe 2-CD editions and the double white vinyl will include the Furthermore EP, with four bonus tracks, and completely new recordings of “Always On My Mind”, “Being Boring”, “Heart”, and “It's a Sin”.
