After four years, Periphery is back! This Friday the 13th, the band announced their first album since 2019, titled Djent Is Not A Genre .

The fifth studio album will be released on March 10th, but Periphery fans can already enjoy two unreleased songs: “Wildfire” and “Zagreus”.

In a statement, guitarist Mark Holcomb said: “We dedicated more time to our fifth album than to any other release in our history. We challenged ourselves and pushed ourselves further, and in the process we became even closer as a band. We are very proud of the final result!”

“I would also like to mention how grateful we are to our fans for being so patient in waiting for this album. We want to show our gratitude by giving you two songs instead of one. We have a very busy 2023 and 2024 planned, so we’ll see you on the road,” he concluded.
