Bruce Dickinson revealed in a recent interview with Qobuz which is his favorite metal album. In a record store surrounded by various classic albums, the Iron Maiden spoke about the metal albums that had the greatest impact on his life.
Before announcing his chosen album, Dickinson sings the word "mindcrime" in the same way Geoff Tate does on the track from his favorite album, Operation: Mindcrime , by Queensryche . Regarding it, the vocalist says: "For me, this was one of those unique albums. Other people have tried to do similar things, but Mindcrime is simply perfect and very intelligent."
Queensryche guitarist Chris DeGarmo , left the band. He then began a career as a pilot, just like Bruce. In the interview, Bruce mistakenly says that Chris left the band after the album was recorded; in fact, this only happened in 1997. Also, Chris is not a commercial pilot, but a private pilot.

Throughout the interview, Bruce talks about other classics he admires such as Deep Purple 's In Rock , Rainbow 's Rising , Judas Priest 's British Steel Black Sabbath 's Sabbath Bloody Sabbath , the self-titled The Crazy World of Arthur Brown Jethro Tull 's Aqualung , and AC/DC 's Powerage .
In the case of Judas Priest, Bruce admitted that he wasn't the biggest fan of the band and that the album covers confused him. But after touring with them to promote the albums Screaming for Vengeance and The Number of the Beast, he changed his mind. He even says that the album British Steel is unmistakable metal. He also mentions that in Iron Maiden, the biggest Priest fan at the time was Adrian Smith .
Regarding AC/DC, Bruce says he prefers the Bon Scott era. Brian Johnson 's vocals .
