The progressive metal band Perc3ption has finally broken their six-year hiatus from releasing new music with Art In Extreme Situation , their third studio album.
A prominent force in the national scene in the 2010s, the band formed by guitarists Glauco Barros and Rick Leite has shared the stage with major names in national and international metal, from Evergrey and Sonata Arctica to Híbria, Almah and Andre Matos .
The new album marks the debut of vocalist Kleber Ramalho , successor to Dan Figueiredo , voice of the album Once And For All (2016), and drummer Alessandro Kelvin . The current lineup features the founders on guitars and Wellington Consoli on bass.
The project was mixed and mastered in the United States, both by renowned producer Adair Daufembach , whose resume includes projects with Hangar, Maestrick, Claustrofobia , and more.
“I still remember the day we started working on this album. I never imagined it would take five years and that we would face so many obstacles along the way. But, even in the face of all the challenges, we never gave up and kept going, with a lot of dedication and hard work,” Consoli comments about the project.
Listen to the album Art In Extreme Situations on all major streaming platforms or purchase the physical digipak version with a t-shirt on the band's official website.
