Pentagram , the classic American heavy doom band, is coming to Brazil for two shows: first in São Paulo this Sunday, September 11th, and then in Rio de Janeiro on Tuesday the 13th. The performances were originally announced for September 2020 , but were postponed due to the pandemic.
Active since 1971, Pentagram is in the final stretch of its current Latin American tour, which has already passed through Ecuador, Colombia, and Chile, and will continue to Argentina and Uruguay before arriving in Brazil.
The last album released by Pentagram is Curious Volume , from 2015, released via Peaceville Records with material written in the 1970s and other songs made especially for this album.
In São Paulo, the opening act will be the stoner/grunge band Grindhouse Hotel , at Hangar 110. Tickets are still available for the show, priced between R$130 and R$170. In Rio de Janeiro, Pentagram will perform at Solar do Botafogo alongside the Chilean band Black Messiah , with the last tickets available for R$140. Learn more in the details below.
