After years of waiting, Edu Falaschi recorded a studio version of "Pegasus Fantasy ." The theme song for the anime Knights of the Zodiac is a long-awaited request from fans who remember Edu's voice in the opening theme. In addition, the release includes a music video with footage from the studio recording, celebrating the anime's 30th anniversary in Brazil.
Edu's interpretation features Roberto Barros , Fábio Laguna on keyboards , Raphael Dafras on bass, and Jean Gardinalli on drums. Production was handled by Tito Falaschi , and the artwork was done by Carlos Fides . This new version appeals to the nostalgia of fans who watched the cartoons in the 2000s and hopes to please new listeners.
Regarding the reasons for choosing the song, Edu Falaschi commented: “For many years I've received requests to re-record 'Pegasus Fantasy' in the studio with a current, revitalized recording that would be available on all digital platforms, so that everyone could finally listen to this anthem in high quality and with the voice and interpretation of the original vocalist, as fans knew it in the early 2000s. Now, many years later, I've managed to make it the way I always wanted. Recreating 'Pegasus Fantasy' in a metal version and with my own compositional style was incredible.”
Edu Falaschi presents the definitive version of “Pegasus Fantasy” on the 'Rebirth Live in SP 20 Years' tour.
Currently, Edu Falaschi is touring Brazil to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the DVD "Rebirth Live in SP ". The band has its own bus, nicknamed "Trovão Azul" (Blue Thunder) by Edu. The bus will transport over a ton of equipment for the show. During this tour, Falaschi and the band will perform a new version of "Pegasus Fantasy".
