John Peel 's iconic sessions on BBC Radio 1 have been made available online for rock fans. The show ran for almost 40 years and featured big names in music such as Nirvana, David Bowie, The Smiths and more.

Almost 16 years after the end of the program – which ended in 2004 after Peel's death – a blogger named Dave Strickson found all the sessions made by the radio host and compiled them into one place, in alphabetical order.

Most of the sessions were released on the Peel Sessions by the Strange Fruit Records label, but many of them were made available online. Strickson scoured YouTube and compiled all the sessions on his website. https://davestrickson.blogspot.com/2020/05/john-peel-sessions.html

In addition to the names already mentioned, there are also Roxy Music, Joy Division, New Order, Siouxsie & The Banshees, The Smiths, The Fall, Echo & The Bunnymen, Jack White, Elvis Costello, Cocteau Twins, The Jesus & Mary Chain, Sonic Youth, The Wedding Present, The Raincoats, Nick Drake, T-Rex, Buzzcocks, Can, Billy Bragg, Fairport Convention, Pulp, The Breeders, The Fugees, The Kinks, The Specials, The Slits, Thin Lizzy and more.
