Pearl Jam could be one of the main attractions at Rock in Rio 2026 , according to journalist Ancelmo Gois of O Globo .
According to Gois, the American band formed in the early 1990s and a reference point of the grunge movement will make its debut as a headliner at the festival on Rock Day. No official confirmation has been released so far.
Rock in Rio 2026 will take place on September 4, 5, 6, 7, 11, 12 and 13 at the Olympic Park. The organizers have already announced some names on the lineup, including Elton John, Stray Kids, Maroon 5, Demi Lovato, Gilberto Gil, Jamiroquai, Mumford & Sons , and João Gomes and Orquestra Brasileira. More names will be announced soon.
News of a supposed Pearl Jam tour in Brazil circulated in August 2024 , but it did not materialize. At the time, journalist José Norberto Flesch stated that Pearl Jam would come to Brazil in 2025.
