Kim Thayil and Matt Cameron reunited for the first time since the death of their friend and Soundgarden bandmate, Chris Cornell . The performance took place during a tour with the supergroup MC50 , which is traveling the world celebrating the 50th anniversary of the band MC5 .

The reunion took place last Saturday, the 7th, during Pearl Jam at the Belgian festival Rock Werchter. There, Thayil and Cameron joined the members of Fugazi and Wayne Kramer , guitarist and composer of MC5, and played the classic "Kick Out the Jams".
