The daily rate for the suite reaches US$2,000
Grunge fans have surely dreamed of going to Seattle to visit the birthplace of the bands that defined the musical style, and now the experience has become complete. A hotel in the city will have a themed room honoring one of the greatest grunge groups, Pearl Jam .
According to the Edgewater Hotel , the room will feature several elements referencing the band, such as concert posters, a guitar, an amplifier, and a plaque with the Mother Love Bone logo behind the bed. There is also a record player and some of the group's albums available.
To guarantee the quality of the products, the hotel enlisted Pearl Jam's help to set up the room in the most special way possible for the fans. Furthermore, 10% of the money raised from the room's bookings will be donated to people living on the streets of Seattle. This initiative will run until August, when the band will be in the city as part of their tour.
This isn't the first themed suite at the Edgewater Hotel. The hotel also has rooms paying homage to the Beatles , with various decorative elements reminiscent of the quartet.
Accommodation in the rock-themed suites can cost up to US$2,000 per night, approximately R$6,500 per night.
