More than just a new song, Pearl Jam is a plea to us Americans this year: vote!
"Get It Back," the band's first new track since the release of their album Gigaton in March, was initially available only on Bandcamp as part of the compilation Good Music to Avert the Collapse of American Democracy Volume Two, and is now available on all streaming platforms.
With this track, it's definitely not the first time Pearl Jam has used its platform politically, considering the recent song "Quick Escape ," from the band's latest album, in which frontman Eddie Vedder expresses his concern that the world needs to "find a place that [Donald] Trump hasn't fucked up yet."
The band also announced the streaming of their 2016 Philadelphia concert to celebrate the 30th anniversary of their first concert together, on October 22, 1990. Click here to learn more.
