Pearl Jam released their new single “Superblood Wolfmoon” from the album Gigaton . To promote the song, the band had launched an augmented reality project a few days prior that provided access to the music.

“Superblood Wolfmoon” follows “Dance of the Clairvoyants,” which had three official music videos. In the new song, Eddie Vedder sings about a relationship that didn't work out: “My first thoughts were that she could be the one” (“And the first thought or second thought 'Could be the one'”).

Gigaton will be released on March 27th and will mark his 11th studio album, his first release since Lightning Bolt in 2013.
