Pearl Jam spreads enigmatic poster around the world with clues about new work

São Paulo is one of the cities in the world that received the poster

Pearl Jam has spread an enigmatic poster around the world for what appears to be a treasure hunt called Gigaton.

Recently, the band had already posted two mysterious images on Twitter. On social media, they published a video explaining the joke.

"Look for Pearl Jam in cities around the world," says the video showing the mysterious symbol previously shared and spread across various countries.

A map available on the group's website shows the coordinates for each of these locations. Some of the cities are: São Paulo, Los Angeles, Mexico City, Paris, New York, Toronto, and Seattle.

The photo in question shows blocks of ice in the Arctic undergoing a melting process. This may be directly linked to the name of the supposed launch, since this effect of global warming on ice is measured in gigatons.
