When Pearl Jam performed in Hartford, Connecticut last Friday, they surprised the audience by playing two Van Halen songs: " Eruption " and "Ain't Talkin' 'Bout Love" .
The band's vocalist, Eddie Vedder, explained the reason: “The last time we played here in 2010, we played a song and said it would be the only time we'd play it. And it really was. But as soon as we got backstage tonight, I said, 'This is the place where we played that song! We have to play it again!'”
