During a show in Belo Horizonte on the 20th, Pearl Jam's vocalist Eddie Vedder interrupted the performance to speak about the Mariana tragedy, where a dam collapsed, leaving hundreds of victims. The disaster also has a gigantic impact on the environment.
In his speech, Eddie Vedder speaks in Portuguese and calls for punishment for those responsible. Later, the band also stated that the concert's fee will be donated to the victims of the accident.
