Pearl Jam announced the cancellation of the remaining dates of their US tour after a second band member tested positive for COVID-19.

Drummer Matt Cameron had already been sidelined from the band's shows following his diagnosis, but bassist Jeff Ament also contracted the disease. The band then opted to cancel the two remaining tour dates.

These performances were scheduled for May 18th and 20th, and fans will be reimbursed. “This is awful for everyone involved, and we especially regret this for those who made plans to attend these shows. Our focus on remaining within our bubble has been constant. We truly did everything we could to stay infection-free,” the group said in a statement.

Rumors published by the Chilean newspaper La Tercera in 2021 indicate that Pearl Jam plans to come to South America this year; learn more here .
