Updated on April 16, 2021: This Friday, the 16th, the tragic news of the death of actress Helen McCrory , who played Polly Gray in the series Peaky Blinders, was confirmed. Helen passed away at the age of 52 after her battle with cancer. In a statement published on Twitter , her husband, Damian Lewis , wrote that the actress "passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by a wave of love from friends and family." Peaky Blinders series has captivated audiences and garnered critical acclaim. Now, it has been revealed that an official soundtrack will be released to accompany the final season.
With a release date set for November 11th, versions with 2 CDs, 3 LPs, and on digital and streaming platforms will be available.
The collection features artists such as Black Sabbath, David Bowie, Joy Division, Radiohead, Idles, Frank Carter, Nick Cave, Royal Blood, PJ Harvey, and more.
Steven Knight, the show's creator, spoke about the importance of music to the series. "The story of 'Peaky Blinders' and the music we use are twins, born at the same time. It would be difficult to imagine most of the important moments without a soundtrack."
