Pe Lu , former guitarist and singer of Restart , discussed some disappointments with idols from his time with the band in an interview on the Falacadabra . According to the composer and music producer, worse than receiving harsh criticism from other artists is realizing the political stance of some of them.

“This is a disappointment for me, as a reactionary rocker, this is more disappointing than people who talked about me. Like Digão and Rodolfo , from Raimundos , meeting again in praise of Bolsonaro,” lamented Pe Lu. “I’m going to say something controversial: I think this whole reactionary artist thing is crazy, (…) you think, ‘Dude, you didn’t quite understand what you’re doing’”.

In the conversation, the singer said that being left-wing isn't mandatory, but he gave examples of situations he considered inconsistent. "There's a really good video of a pro- Trump with the guys listening to Rage Against the Machine . Wow, man, these people don't speak English. They're not listening," he explained.
