Paul Stanley responds to whether he intends to be buried in a Kiss coffin.

The lead singer was questioned about the band's unusual merchandise.

Kiss is one of the most successful bands when it comes to merchandising. Known – or criticized – for their strict brand control and long list of licensed products, the group has released everything from t-shirts and condoms to even a limited edition of coffins.

Called Kiss Kasket and sold only on two occasions, in 2001 and 2011, the band's official coffins were chosen by the families of brothers Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul , of Pantera , for the musicians' burial.

But would Paul Stanley be buried in a coffin bearing the name of the band he dedicated his entire life to? In an interview with BBC Radio , the 69-year-old vocalist was asked about the matter.

“I have no plans to die. That’s not on the table,” Stanley (via Ultimate Guitar ). “My list [of goals] just keeps getting longer and longer, so there’s no chance of that happening.”

Such confidence in longevity is well-founded. Besides maintaining a balanced diet and exercising daily, the musician also cycles 40 km about three times a week. And if his father's admirable health at 101 years old is anything to go by, it's that the family has a great deal of vitality.
