With the US presidential elections drawing near, nerves among supporters of Donald Trump and Joe Biden are on edge. And one person who recently came out in defense of the Democratic candidate was Paul Stanley .

After John Cardillo , a TV personality and Trump supporter, posted a photo of Biden hugging and kissing his son on the cheek, he asked his followers, "Does this look like an appropriate father-son interaction to you?"

The controversy reached Stanley, who responded to the tweet, saying, “Yes! And so needed. Unfortunately, some parents believe they make their children stronger by withholding affection. These children will be traumatized.”

"Being comfortable showing love and affection to them at any age allows them to grow and be a reference of true strength, not of the fear of appearing weak," the artist concludes.
