Paul Stanley criticizes Elon Musk and is attacked by fellow musicians: "Donate your stuff to charity, then."

Some metal musicians disliked the KISS co-founder's opinion about the millionaire

While Gene Simmons seemed to celebrate the news that Elon Musk was close to buying Twitter , Paul Stanley thinks the billionaire could find a better use for the $44 billion that will be spent if the purchase goes through.

KISS co-founder responded to a question that has been circulating online following an article claiming that Elon Musk could end world hunger for far less money. "Wouldn't our world be better and more advanced if we used far less than $44 billion to end hunger or cure cancer?" Stanley asked.

Some fellow musicians, however, disagreed with Paul Stanley's point of view and even seemed irritated by his stance. Zach Myers , from Shinedown , said that the musician was one of his favorite artists to have on tour with, but that he should keep in mind that "A. Telling other citizens what to do with their money is not his job and B. Even with 44 trillion you can't end world hunger."

Judas Priest vocalist Tim “Ripper” Owens also didn't seem to appreciate the KISS member's comment. “Instead of fans buying your stuff, donate it to charity then,” he wrote.

The lead singer of Sacred Reich , Phil Rind , also expressed his dissatisfaction with the excessive spending of wealthy people for their own well-being. "These guys don't even want to let their employees unite so they don't have to pay them a fair wage. World hunger? People living on the streets? That's someone else's problem. Power to the people!" he wrote.
