In an interview on the Behind the Setlist podcast, Paul Stanley discussed what's being planned for future Kiss , featuring digital versions of the band members.

In April 2024, the sale of the group's catalog, brand, and intellectual property to the Swedish company Pophouse was announced . Pophouse focuses on long-term investment and brand building for musicians. Essentially, the goal is to keep their legacy alive in innovative ways, as seen in the successful ABBA Voyage – a creation of the company.

For the podcast, Paul Stanley said the collaboration is "revolutionary." After all, the band wanted to find partners who understood the scope and magnitude of both the musical work and the characters created by the group, and Pophouse fulfilled those requirements.

Paul Stanley says that "it will be an unmissable experience"

The virtual shows are scheduled to debut in 2027 in Las Vegas. The vocalist also created anticipation for what's to come: “ABBA's concert is done with old technology, since it evolves exponentially. When our show is presented, it will be new technology. We will work with ILM (Industrial Light & Magic), George Lucas , and create something that isn't quite a concert.”

Regarding the technology involved, the Kiss co-founder said it won't be a simple structure, or one that's easy to transport: "It will require an installation, and basically, a building will have to be constructed around it."

Paul Stanley adds that it will not be a hologram performance or a simulation: "That would be boring." Furthermore, it hasn't yet been decided whether a live band will participate in the show, but this and other details will be discussed in the near future.

He also mentions that an immersive experience is being created, one that fans will love, and that both people who haven't had contact with the band, and those who might not like certain aspects of it, will have to see it. "It will be an unmissable experience, beyond anything anyone could have imagined," he concludes.

Throughout the day, I'm accompanied by a soundtrack, preferably composed of rock and metal (in its numerous subgenres). Reading about music is one of my favorite pastimes, and being able to write about it is a rewarding exercise. I have a degree in Multimedia Production from the Belas Artes University Center.
