And to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the legendary location, Mary McCartney , prestigious photographer, director, and daughter of Paul and Linda McCartney , will be responsible for directing If These Walls Could Sing , a documentary that will be the highlight of the studio's anniversary celebrations, which begin in November of this year.
“Some of my earliest memories as a child are from my time at Abbey Road,” says Mary. “I’ve been waiting a long time to tell you the story of this historic place, and I couldn’t have asked for a better team than John [ Battsek ] and Mercury Studios to make this creative ambition a reality.”
