Paul McCartney reveals he still wonders if the Beatles would have reunited if John Lennon were alive.

“He wasn’t showing any signs of slowing down,” McCartney recalls about Lennon.

Nothing hurts like thoughts about what fate could have brought if it weren't for tragedies. And when such daydreams concern a possible return of one of the greatest bands of all time, the Beatles , it's impossible not to feel even sadder thinking about "what if".

Paul McCartney shares these questions about what if things were different regarding John Lennon . In an interview on CBS Sunday Morning , when asked if his bandmate would still be making music if he were alive, he said: “Yes. He wasn’t showing any signs of slowing down. You know, he was still making great music.”

“The question is: would we [The Beatles] get back together again?” he asks, and when asked for an answer to the difficult question, uncertainty overwhelms him. “I don’t know. We don’t know.”

In the same interview, the artist spoke about the current state of the pandemic and how he condemns people who claim that wearing masks infringes on their civil liberties.
