Sir Paul McCartney has revealed that he is finalizing his next studio album, the successor to New .

The former Beatle had announced he was working with producer Greg Kurstin (Foo Fighters and Adele), but the future of his album was uncertain. Now, he admits he hopes for a release in the second half of 2018.

“We’re finishing up the album, so I’d like one of my New Year’s resolutions to be delivering a great record. Fingers crossed! That’s not the album title, but it could… It could be the album title!”

Last year, McCartney re-released Flowers In The Dirt , which features his work with Elvis Costello from 1989.
