The performance took place at the Roundhouse in London
Little Steven and the Disciples of Soul were finishing their set at the Roundhouse in London, England, in November 2017 when Van Zandt introduced a special guest: Paul McCartney.
The former Beatle took to the stage and played "I Saw Her Standing There," a classic that the musicians had previously attempted to perform during a Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band in Hyde Park in 2002, but the event organizers cut off the sound for exceeding the venue's time limit.
The performance is part of Soulfire Live! , which includes other concerts by the musician throughout 2017. The release also features appearances by Springsteen, Peter Wolf , and Richie Sambora.
