In an interview with the newspaper O Globo , Luiz Guilherme Niemeyer Paul McCartney concerts in the future. The artist last visited the country in 2023 with the Got Back .

Guilherme, who is a managing partner at the production company Bonus Track , is also the son of Luiz Oscar, who was the one who brought the legendary Beatle to Brazil for the first time.

“Every time we bring Paul, when we open a sale, it sells out in an hour, in 50 minutes. He's a living Beatle, you never know when you'll have the opportunity to see him again. For me, he's the greatest living artist currently performing,” comments Luiz Guilherme.

Although he did not confirm any negotiations at the moment, Niemeyer assured that he is "always in contact" with Paul McCartney's manager to stay informed of any possible moves by the artist.

The attraction for Todo Mundo in Rio should be announced in February

At a different point in the interview (conducted in December 2025), Luiz Guilherme Niemeyer commented that negotiations "are progressing" regarding the name that will perform on Copacabana Beach in 2026, at Todo Mundo no Rio.

In its past editions, the event featured pop divas Madonna and Lady Gaga . So far, there's no indication of who might be performing next, but Niemeyer commented that the public is also requesting rock acts. The next act is expected to be revealed in February, following the pattern of the last edition.

“We are working on a good name, negotiations are progressing. We are on schedule with our planning. This year (2025, when this interview was conducted), we announced the name at the end of February, and the plan for 2026 is more or less the same. Since we did Madonna and Lady Gaga, who are two pop divas, the public ends up asking for that a lot. But there are people who ask for rock, who even ask for K-pop… in short, they ask for everything.”
