The documentary Di'Anno: Iron Maiden's Lost Singer , a production that revisits the career of Paul Di'Anno, Iron Maiden 's first vocalist , will be released in North America in June. The documentary has already been screened in the United Kingdom and at festivals in the United States.
According to the production company Cleopatra Entertainment, the documentary will have screenings at film festivals in the United States before its official release (at Sound Unseen, which took place last Wednesday, the 13th, and the San Francisco Documentary Festival , which takes place on June 3rd). The official North American premiere will be on June 9th in Beverly Hills, with a cinema screening and simultaneous DVD/Blu-ray release.
After the screening, director Wes Orshoski will participate in a Q&A session with the audience. He has previously directed biographical films about figures such as Lemmy Kilmister and The Damned.
Paul Di'Anno, vocalist for Iron Maiden between 1977 and 1981, passed away on October 21, 2024, at the age of 66.
