Paul Di'Anno recently spoke to The Metal Voice Iron Maiden's tour with Judas Priest in the 80s. The former Iron Maiden frontman reported discontent on the part of KK Downing .
During the British bands' tour, Di'Anno said that "Judas Priest are a bunch of old men and [we should] get over them." Although he doesn't remember saying that, he agrees that it's something he could have said.
The vocalist recalled when he reconnected with the guitarist: “Ken and I hadn’t spoken for years until recently on the KK’s Priest , so we kind of put an end to the feud and he’s a lovely man and an incredible guitarist and I have a lot of respect for him. We met up a few months ago (performing at KK’s Steel Mill), which was the first time we’d reconnected after all these years. It was great. The band is phenomenal.”
Paul Di'Anno also commented on his Warhorse : “We have the new Warhorse album coming out next year. I’m writing with my songwriting partner in Mexico, Marco Benjamin Alvaro . We’ve been writing a few tracks here and there.”
During the interview, the former Iron Maiden member also commented on the biographical documentary that will be released "soon," and thanked fans and Iron Maiden themselves for their support during his treatments .
