Paul Di'Anno Iron Maiden vocalist , shared updates on his health and a brief account of his recent meeting with Bruce Dickinson . In an interview with SDTV – Stonedead Festival , the British musician spoke about the progress of his therapy, two years after undergoing knee surgery in Croatia.
In addition to taking care of his health, Di'Anno had the opportunity to meet with Bruce Dickinson . The conversation took place during the promotion of Dickinson's solo album, The Mandrake Project .
Regarding the conversation with his former bandmate, Di'Anno stated (via Blabermouth ): “Our conversation was private, so I won’t say anything more. Everyone thinks we hate each other, which is nonsense. But we’ve known each other, obviously, since he was in Samson and all that. So, yeah, everything’s fine.”

“It’s getting much better,” Di’Anno said about his recovery. However, the vocalist criticized the British public health system, the NHS (National Health Service), claiming that it is “completely broken.”
In his experience, the vocalist says he receives better care in Croatia, where doctors are faster, and mentions that even lymphatic drainage is more difficult to obtain in the British system.
