Paul Di'Anno announces the first single from his new project, Warhorse

The former Iron Maiden vocalist is working with a group of Croatian musicians

Iron Maiden vocalist Paul Di'Anno has announced a new project with Croatian musicians called Warhorse . Di'Anno is currently in Zagreb, Croatia, undergoing physiotherapy and lymphatic drainage in preparation for knee surgery.

According to Blabbermouth , the band recently recorded three songs, including "Stop The War" and "The Doubt Within." These two songs will be released as a special DVD single along with a video message recorded by Paul Di'Anno for the fans who purchased the single and thus helped raise funds for his operation.

Di'Anno will perform a show in Zagreb on May 21st. The performance will be filmed and parts of it will be included in a documentary about the singer, directed by Wes Orshoski – co-director and producer of the film Lemmy (2010). The show is free and takes place one day before Iron Maiden's own show in Zagreb.

“Stop The War” / “The Doubt Within” will be released in a limited edition of 666 copies. 333 are currently available in the pre-release ( access here ) and the remaining 333 will be available at the show in Zagreb. Each single will be signed by the band and accompanied by an exclusive t-shirt.
