Vocalist Paul Di'Anno has announced that he will perform his final show on August 30th. The event will take place at the Beermageddon Festival in Bromsgrove, England.

Di'Anno will perform with his band Ides Of March , which includes other former members of Iron Maiden .

Besides Paul Di'Anno on vocals, the band's lineup consists of Terry Wapram (guitar), Terry Rance (guitar), and Doug Sampson (drums). All were part of Iron Maiden's lineup prior to the release of their first album. Completing the Ides Of March lineup is bassist Speed Harris from the band Hi-On Maiden .

The show will also be a celebration of the 40th anniversary of Iron Maiden's 1980 debut album. In addition to recording vocals on this album, Di'Anno also featured on the following album, Killers, from 1981.

Paul Di'Anno has a history of various health problems, and for this reason he has been asked to retire from the stage.

He said: “It’s been really hard waiting these last 4 years to play again. I hope I can stand in front of the audience and I’m really looking forward to it. Standing would be amazing – and if I can’t, oh well, I’ll go in a wheelchair!”

A documentary about the life of Iron Maiden's first vocalist is being produced, directed by Wes Orshoski , who made the film about Lemmy from Motörhead . The film is expected to be completed and released sometime in 2020.
