Felipe Machado , guitarist for Viper , recently participated in the Amplifica and told a story about how Paul Di'Anno broke his dining table.
In episode 118, Rafael Bittencourt hosted Felipe Machado, Angel Sberse from Malvada , and Jimmy London from Matanza Ritual for a 2-hour chat. During the conversation, Felipe Machado reminisced about a momentous moment in his career when he was Paul Di'Anno's touring guitarist in the early 2000s. He recounts throwing a party at his house to celebrate the end of the tour and reveals an unusual event:
“It was a hell of a party, total madness, all that mess. Di'Anno was at home, he punched the table, broke my dining table. At the time I was married, my wife said: 'Dude, end this party', and I said: 'I can't, Di'Anno's here [laughs]. Let's put the table away and continue the party.'”
Paul Di'Anno was the vocalist for Iron Maiden between 1977 and 1981, recording the band's first two albums: Iron Maiden (1980) and Killers (1981). Between January and March, the singer undertook a solo tour of Brazil with 24 dates, visiting practically every state in the country. Before the end of the tour, he announced that he would remain in São Paulo for another three months to complete treatment for his knee.
