Paramore invites NBA star Stephen Curry to sing "Misery Business" at a concert.

The basketball player has been a friend of the band for several years, according to Hayley Williams.

Paramore invited NBA player Stephen Curry "Misery Business" during a show in San Francisco.

Curry attended a concert by the band at the Chase Center and was called on stage by lead singer Hayley Williams to sing the famous bridge from the 2000s pop-rock hit.

In a brief speech before the performance, Hayley Williams explained to those who didn't know that the members of Paramore and Stephen Curry (or Steph, as she calls him) are longtime friends.

“You know that Steph and I have known each other for a few years,” he commented. “Tonight is our reunion. Tonight we’re going to sing something together. Listen, as soon as Steph grabs the microphone, this won’t be a Paramore show anymore. It will be a Steph Curry show.”

"Misery Business" is Paramore's most successful single and the one responsible for putting them on the media and mainstream radar. Currently, it's a tradition for the band to invite fans or celebrities present at the show to sing the song's bridge and the last chorus.
