Papa Roach will be more active in releasing their new album with a new contract; learn more.

“We are the record label for this [album],” says Jacob Shaddix.

While recording their new album , Papa Roach vocalist Jacob Shaddix announced in an interview with RockSound TV that the band has begun a new partnership with Warner/ADA , which will give the group a more active role in their future releases.

“During quarantine, we negotiated a recording contract, so we’re with a new company for this next album and we’re excited about it. We are the label for this [album],” reveals Jacob. “We’re partnering with Warner/ADA , so it’s like an artist services group. And we’ll do this for one album and see how it works. We’re very focused on the creative marketing behind what we do and the visuals, the videos, the messaging and everything else, we were like, let’s take this into our own hands and see where we can go with it and experiment for an album.”

The artist also gave new information about the creative process of the next album, “We’ve been writing and recording a lot. Everyone has their instruments at home. We went to Los Angeles for at least 10 days and we were getting together, making noise and making music.”

“We want to come out of this experience with a ton of content and creative things to flood people with, because it’s important to maintain a creative flow and a creative dialogue among the members. We’ve been doing this for so long. It feels like if we stop, it’s over. So, we have to keep going, man. There’s no shortage of things to sing, talk about, write, shout, hum.”
