In an interview with radio station 99.7 The Blitz , Jacoby spoke about the band's plans for the coming year.
“Right now, at the beginning of the year, we’re working on a lot of new music. And so we’re essentially pulling the slingshot back. 2025 is going to be a big year for Papa Roach. It’s the 25th anniversary of our first album, ‘Infest.’ We have a book, we have tours, we have everything complete. And we have a new batch of songs that we’re going to release. So new music will probably arrive at the end of the year – in the third or fourth quarter.”
The vocalist added: “It’s good to stay calm before the storm, so I’m enjoying this year and just creating tons of music, writing for Papa Roach, writing with other artists, and being as creative as possible.”
The band, known for their explosive energy and impactful lyrics, recently gifted fans with a new live version of their hit “Scars,” featuring singer Chris Daughtry .
The track is part of the band's latest EP, Leave A Light (Talk Away The Dark) , and was released along with a pledge. The vocalist announced a donation of US$155,000 to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention (AFSP) on behalf of attendees in each city where the band played the song live.
