In a recent interview, Tobin Esperance , bassist for Papa Roach , gave new details about the band's upcoming album.

According to Esperance, the group had no intention of releasing a new album and only intended to release new songs as they were made, but the pandemic increased the flow of production and creativity within the group.

“Our original plan wasn’t even to release an album; we were going to adopt this new model of releasing music whenever we wanted,” said Tobin. “But we wrote so much – especially when COVID hit. We were locked down at home and the only thing we could do was write songs and be creative.”

The bassist also said that the band's intention was to make the most of all the songs and not be too picky about what to put on the album. "We settled on 14 songs. I think we probably left out two or three, but 14 tracks is quite a lot, especially considering how short people's attention spans are these days," he concluded.

Papa Roach has already given a sneak peek at what's to come on their new album with the singles " Swerve ," " Kill The Noise, " and " Dying To Believe ."
