Papa Roach released the single "Stand Up" this Friday, the 21st, produced by Jason Evigan , who has previously worked with Dua Lipa, G-Eazy , and Maroon 5.

Speaking about the release, vocalist Jacoby Shaddix explained the inspiration behind the song: “'Stand Up' is inspired by the social unrest of marginalized people around the world. It's about the feeling of wanting to give up when you're backed against a wall.”

"For those who have been oppressed for so long that a feeling of hopelessness is all they have, 'Stand Up' was made to inspire that whisper, that small inner voice that you deserve. Step into power and shake the world with your voice," he concluded.
