Papa Roach has begun working on new music and is expected to present new material to fans next year, following the release of Ego Trip , the band's eleventh studio album, in 2022.
In an interview with radio station Lazer 103.3 (transcribed from Wikimetal ), vocalist Jacoby Shaddix revealed that "this is an exciting time to be in Papa Roach," but didn't give away all the news at once. "Man, I'm going to hold back my comments because I like to keep some surprises up my sleeve, but I'll tell you it's inspiring. Every time we go into the studio, we don't know what's going to happen, you know? And whatever we do, we always try to surprise ourselves, and this is an exciting experience for us," he said.
The band's schedule anticipates the release of new music "later" in 2024, but there's still no definite plan to release a new full album or focus solely on singles. With a tour scheduled in the Northern Hemisphere until October of this year, Papa Roach's upcoming tour plans are also still being finalized.
