Papa Roach releases intense music video for “Broken As Me” featuring Danny Worsnop of Asking Alexandria; watch it!

The track, originally released in 2015, received a new version for Papa Roach's 10th-anniversary compilation

Papa Roach 's track "Broken As Me" has finally received a music video. The video comes after the release of a new version of the song, a collaboration with Danny Worshop , vocalist of Asking Alexandria .

The music video is intense and depicts the destructive struggle between two characters, each with their own secrets to hide beneath their flawless appearance. Despite the apparent conflict, the fight is shown as a process of understanding one's own difficulties in the other.

At the beginning, phrases like “Nobody cares about me” and “Self-abuse isn’t healthy” introduce the women, but are replaced by more personal phrases like “I can learn from my mistakes” and “I can forgive myself” at the end. Besides relating to the song lyrics, the messages may also be related to Jacoby Shaddix 's difficulty maintaining sobriety during the pandemic .

“Broken As Me” was originally released on the 2015 FEAR Greatest Hits Vol. 2 – The Better Noise Years , released last Friday, the 19th, in celebration of Papa Roach . The compilation includes 20 other hit songs from the American band.
