Papa Roach has teamed up with country singer Carrie Underwood for a new version of “Leave A Light On (Talk Away The Dark)”.

The release is part of a campaign to raise funds for mental health awareness, especially regarding suicide. Both artists will donate royalties from the track to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention.

“We were honored that Carrie was open to our mission, and hearing the power of Carrie’s voice during that recording session left us in awe,” says Papa Roach vocalist Jacoby Shaddix . “Not only is her vocal ability unmatched, but the impact of her voice brings new meaning to our cause and will help people around the world.”

Underwood commented: “I’m a huge fan of Jacoby and Papa Roach and I was honored to be invited to record 'Leave A Light On' with them. It’s a beautiful song and the message behind it and the band’s mission to shed light on suicide prevention and mental health awareness has never been more important.”
