Papa Roach's lead singer, Jacoby Shadixx, confirmed the celebration.

Jacoby Shadixx confirmed that Papa Roach will celebrate the 20th anniversary of Infest in 2020.

This is the band's second album, their first on a major label. Infest reached number 5 on the Billboard 200 chart and was certified platinum for sales of over 4 million copies in the US.

In an interview, Shadixx confirmed the celebration plans. "In 2020, we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the album Infest . On April 25, 2020, we will have a celebration," he said.

He also spoke about the popularity of the single “Last Resort.” “Music can be a place of light for people. Papa Roach has been a source of strength, a source of hope,” he said.

“The first single, ‘Last Resort,’ is about… one of my best friends tried to kill himself,” he explained. “We lived in a house together. I was 17 years old, and my best friend tried to kill himself. It was a traumatic experience. I sing in the first person to… it’s the way I write music. It’s crazy how many people have used this song as a source of strength.”
