Pantera performed their fourth reunion tribute show on December 18th at the Anhembi Sambadrome in São Paulo, during the first edition of Knotfest Brazil . Fan-recorded videos of the show can be seen at the end of this article .

The band's performance at Knotfest took place six days after Rex Brown confirmed he had tested positive for COVID-19 . The bassist ended up missing not only the São Paulo show , but also the Knotfest Chile performance in Santiago on December 11th. Brown was replaced by Derek Engemann of Cattle Decapitation , Philip H. Anselmo & The Illegals , and Scour , both bands of Phil Anselmo.

Joining remaining members Brown and Anselmo are guitarist Zakk Wylde ( Ozzy Osbourne and Black Label Society ) and drummer Charlie Benante ( Anthrax ), replacing “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott and Vincent “Vinnie Paul” Abbott , respectively. The families of both musicians, now deceased, approved the tour . Despite this, there is considerable controversy surrounding the matter among fans – click here to learn more.
