Last June 30th, Pantera released the 20th anniversary edition of the classic Reinventing the Steel , via Warner.
The band's latest album arrives with a brand new mix by producer Terry Date , responsible for Cowboys From Hell (1990), Vulgar Display of Power (1992), Far Beyond Driven (1994) and The Great Southern Trendkill (1996). Despite his vital role in the band's career, Date revealed he was apprehensive about remixing the album for the new edition, stating, “I'm just trying to remember what we used to do while I go through this. But the riffs and performances are strong. It's just classic Pantera.”
The release, which includes three discs, also features rare covers, instrumental versions, and special editions of tracks made for radio. Currently, only the digital version of Reinventing the Steel (20th Anniversary Edition) is available in Brazil; physical versions of the edition are not yet planned for the country.
