The tribute to the Abbott took place last Friday, the 9th, during a performance at the Blue Ridge Rock Festival in the United States. "This next song is for Dimebag and Vince. I want you all to sing. If you know this damn lyric, sing this shit with me," Anselmo told the audience.

Pantera tribute meeting
After announcing their participation in several Knotfest events across Latin America, Pantera released a teaser and dedicated their tribute reunion to their "brothers, fans, and legacy."
The band will be in São Paulo for Knotfest Brasil on December 18th, accompanied by other acts such as Bring Me The Horizon, Judas Priest, Trivium, Sepultura, Motionless In White, Vended, Project46, and Slipknot themselves. Tickets and more information can be found on the Eventim website .
The reunion is highly controversial due to feuds involving the Abbott brothers and Phil Anselmo, as well as the singer's past, which included a white supremacist demonstration during a concert. In episode #349 of the Wikimetal podcast , the site's team discusses all these issues. Listen here on your favorite platform or watch on YouTube.
