A teaser was posted on Pantera , indicating that they will soon be releasing news about a possible tribute reunion.
In the video, a short excerpt from the introduction of "Cowboys From Hell" plays, followed by what appears to be a recent or distorted recording of Phil Anselmo saying one of the lines from the song's lyrics, "We're taking over this town."
Nothing official has been released yet, but there are rumors that the group will perform at Knotfest 2022 in São Paulo, as well as at Hell & Heaven Metal Fest in Mexico, both in December. Anselmo has already commented that a tour in the United States may happen next year.
In addition to original members Philip Anselmo (vocals) and Rex Brown (bass), the band now includes guitarist Zakk Wylde and drummer Charlie Benante , who will take over the positions previously held by Dimebag Darrell Abbott and Vincent Vinnie Paul Abbott, respectively.
